Italian salad sauce

* 5 tbsp white wine vinegar
* 2 tablespoons basil vinegar or herbal vinegar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 tsp sugar
* 150 ml olive oil
* 5 tbsp water
* 1 potted basil
